Improving Pupil Wellbeing
High Five Wellbeing resources allow members of staff within schools to train in the delivery of course and club materials.
The resources are based on the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’ approach recommended for mental wellbeing by the NHS and New Economics Foundation.
High Five Wellbeing resources are available online for a small subscription fee, which includes an online introductory session access to new resources for a year.
We believe that educating children about health and wellbeing is one of the most important things we can teach them. When children and young people understand themselves, they are given the choice to take care of themselves and each other. Our vision is to empower children to be compassionate, resilient and powerful citizens of the real world and the digital world.
High Five Wellbeing is a fun and engaging course to teach children and young people about health and wellbeing. When we feel well, we get on well.
The Mental Health Foundation says: ‘Wellbeing is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as “the state of being comfortable, healthy, or happy.” However, it is more than just short-term happiness. Feeling well is about how we function on a day-to-day level, personally and socially; our sense of purpose a how we feel about our lives overall.’

What teachers say
“We felt that the mindfulness sessions were invaluable for our Y6 pupils in the lead up to their SATs. The children were captivated by Mrs Barton and engaged really well with each session. They love practising the strategies they learnt during the course and we feel that it equipped them with crucial skills to enable them to be the very best version of themselves!”
